Notable Changes From the Previous Year
This mid-size pickup truck was released in 2023, and the 2024 lineup is mostly a continuation of it. The AT4X now has an AEV Edition for enhanced capability and a greater ground clearance of 12.2 inches.
Performance Specs
All models are powered by a TurboMax engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It has 310 horsepower and a torque capacity of 430 lb-ft. The Tow/Haul driving mode is standard across the lineup. The powertrain grade braking, which controls speeds on downhills, is also standard. GMC hasn’t released fuel efficiency estimates for this lineup, but all models have a fuel tank capacity of 81L.
Design Features
All trims have the same dimensions, but you can get superior features by purchasing the AT4 Premium Package or the AT4X AEV Edition. These packages are available only for their respective trims and add features like jet black timber perforated leather seats, power lumbar adjustments for front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a wireless charging pad.
Standard features include automatic headlamps, black wheel arch mouldings, body-colour door handles, and black-painted mirror caps. You can customize the Denali with the Denali Black Edition package, which adds black assist steps, black chrome exhaust tips, 20-inch black aluminum wheels, and black badges.
Technology and Safety Features
LED projector headlamps and taillamps are standard across the lineup, as are Signature LED daytime running lights with animations. Two screens are placed on the front console: an 11-inch driver information control and an 11.3-inch GMC Premium infotainment system with built-in Google.
There are also plenty of standard safety features, plus a long list of driving assists. Standard features include forward collision alert, following distance indicator, hitch view, and hitch guidance. Additionally, all models can use the GMC Connected Access system. The Elevation and AT4 models come with HD rearview cameras, while HD surround vision cameras are standard for upper trims.
