Notable Changes from the Previous Year
The 2024 Traverse is equipped with a 2.5-litre turbo four-cylinder engine instead of its previous 3.6-litre V6 engine. The new Z71 trim has been added to the Traverse lineup, equipped with more suspension, all-terrain tires, and 18-inch wheels. The all-wheel-drive system includes a twin-clutch. The new RS trim is at the top of the line, including a swanky black interior and 22-inch wheels.

The turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with eight-speed transmission offers 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. The 2024 Traverse has a towing capacity of up to 5,000 lb. The suspension dampers and twin-clutch AWD help to ensure a smoother ride on all road surfaces. The Z71 models include a terrain mode for optimal off-road driving. All the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse trims are equipped with all-wheel drive.
Technology
Standard on all trims, the 17.7-inch diagonal display infotainment touchscreen integrates iOS or Android devices. An 11.0-inch digital gauge display and HD surround vision are standard features. WiFi connectivity and a wireless charging pad are also available features.
Design Elements
The 2024 Traverse is a spacious option, offering seating for up to eight occupants on selected trims. Captain’s chairs or bench seating is available in the second row. The steering wheel, front, and second-row seating include heat settings. Enjoy up to 2,763 L of cargo volume. The third row of seating includes a 60/40 split bench.
The Traverse’s exterior exudes strength and power. The big grille makes a statement, with narrow headlights framing the top. The tail lights are specially designed to wrap around the back corners of the vehicle. A Smart Sense liftgate is designed to activate when you approach the rear of the vehicle.
